Thankfully my MCS isn't severe enough to be life threatening, but I still have a very difficult time with perfumes, colognes, cleaning chemicals, etc.

I'll be flying to see my LLMD in a couple weeks, so am trying to prepare...

Any recommendations for some sort of mask to help me cope with all the fragrances and chemicals?

Any other tips on coping with MCS while traveling would be appreciated [Smile] Thanks!

Hey Melyody...

I have severe MCS and have trouble even in the car and in the waiting room in the doctor's office...I've found a mask from www.needs.com to be a life saver. If you wear it during the flight, it'll filter a lot of the chemicals, plus it might help with any infection circulating in the air.

Let me know if you have any questions about it. I believe there's only one mask on the site (honeycomb mask I believe?), but if you have a hard time finding it let me know. I'll work on getting a direct link.

Hope it goes well, I'll be thinkin of ya! <3

Thank you so much!

I was able to find the specific honeycomb mask on the site and it sounds perfect for my needs.
