I was outside in the sun a while yesterday. I woke up feeling so tired and with a stiff neck. My body is exhausted with a capital E. [Frown]

All my muscles feel tight and I had some muscle twitching. To this day, I sill am amazed how quickly hot weather does me in. It's 85-88 degrees. I watch others be able to sit outside all day w/o issues and am jealous.

Today, I keep breaking out into chills, some anxiety, and other stuff. So so odd. Another sign of Babesia perhaps?

I have cold sweats since treating babs, I have started feeling not well since the weather began to warm.

Do you ever get foot pain with the babs? [Smile]

The sun might have killed off some bugs, vitamin D3!
People with porphyria have trouble with sun as well.

Seekhelp,
Perhaps you need more magnesium?
Low mag can cause twitching and spasms, as magnesium is needed for all the enzyme processes in the muscle and nerve cells.

Low mag can also cause headaches, anxiety and depression.

I'm up to 4 Mag-Tab SR tablets a day. I'm trying 6 today. My RBC Mg blood tests are in perfect range (mid to high normal), but I know that's not always reliable as much of it is in muscles and other areas. My potassium is perfect too according to labs. Well, i guess in general I'm perfect on almost all labs, except for my Babesia WA-1 titer and my CD-57 and my Igenex WB, and my C4a is super high.

It always feels like lack of oxygen getting to my muscles when exerting myself. It's like when I need energy most, my body fails.

I have a severe heat intolerance! I always thought it was from my Dysautonomia but could it be a co-infection? Anyone know?

I don't even need the sun...though it does feel worse in it. If I try to walk outside in temps above like 75 (especially with humidity) I can not breath, I get light headed, severe fatigue, headaches, etc. Then I feel sick for hours after wards.

Oh and if I get hot while trying to do something (like clean or cook) I have to sit down in front of the fan to cool off or I feel faint.

Does this sound like stuff you deal with?

I stay inside all summer in the AC [Frown] Spring and Fall are my favorite temps but lately we only get a hand full of low 70 breezy days.

Winter flares my pain. Feel like a hermit all year long! Sucks!

Feel better seek.

Be sure you are addressing your adrenals as well as treating the suspect infection/s.

Wilson's Adrenal Rebuilder is an easy and relatively cost effective way to rebuild the havoc Lyme & Co are causing.

Keep your head up. You will turn the corner.

Best

Derek

Amy C, last year and the year before I would just wilt in the warmer weather. I couldn't do anything and would just gasp for air. I thought it was panic attacks, but it happened mainly on very humid days. I don't have asthma. I'm guessing Babs was/is the culprit.

This year, I'm doing a little better, but whatever I did Friday destroyed me. I just feel so ill. I'm still shivering cold in 87 deg weather, have goosebumps constantly, sweating like a pig indoors and feel dead. My temperature is high 95s, low 96s. I can't recover. My spine feels stiff as a board. It's tough.

I don't think I have format dysautonomia, but who knows? I feel panicky at times, but I check my vitals and it shows 130/80 and a pulse in the high 60s. I don't get it.

Thanks Derek. I was taking some adrenal support then stopped. I think I'm going to get back on it ASAP. The cost of these supplements gets to me after a while. It was a mixture of different herbals like passionflower, B-5, and other stuff to help support adrenals. It helped lower that anxiety feeling at times. I'll look into the product you mentioned. [Smile]

This is why I need a Dr. H type LLMD...to cover all bases.

seekhelp, I am sorry you are feeling so terrible. It sounds like Babesiosis to me.

I hope you can see a knowledgeable doctor soon.

My thyroid numbers aren't bad. Not ideal, but TSH is 2.0, T3 high normal, T4 mid normal, no antibodies. Perfect thyroid ultrasound.

seekhelp, good luck with your decision.

Regarding thyroid testing, it is also important to have the Free T3 and Free T4 (besides the T3 and T4) tested. From what I understand, these levels are more important than the TSH.

I was referring to the free T3 and T4 levels. Sorry about not clarifying it.

Seek, troubleshooting the fatigue aspects of the illness can be frustrating. It has been for me. I have had periods when I'm feeling pretty good and then will just crash without warning.

It never seems to correlate with anything I'm eating or doing and doesn't seem to relate to environmental factors. It is certainly not mental in origin either.

Making sure hormones are optimized is a good first step. However, I'm not sure hormones are always the answer as receptor blockade could come into play as well as genetic differences in detox...

I've been flirting with the idea of trying cortisol again. Maybe it's something you would consider?

djf, have you had any success with Adrenal Rebuilder? I know Wilson likes to hawk all his supps under the umbrella of one program which makes me a little suspicious.

However, a doc of mine did recommend it to me.
