I had been on a week of abx when i had my first wb now my doc is doing another but im also on abx. Should i stop before i do this next one. Wonder why he didnt tell me to wait to take the abx before this test. Will it show anything im on major abx have been for a week now. Was before that accept one week off. What do you think?

I have also had a town lab do the work which sends it to lab corp im concidering waiting and getting it done via Igenex the first one i ever had 1998 was with igenex and i had 9 possitive 2 not sure?

I think Igenex advises that one should be off of antibiotics for 2 weeks before the WB is done.

You can look for their phone # on their website and call them. They are very helpful.

I wouldn't bother with Lab Corp.

Goofy docs once again just told me go ahead and take the WB just see what happens i dont have the money to throw away to just see what happens ugh.

Unfortunatly i had been on abx one week when i had this last lab done via lab corp i got one marker.

I am sooo getting fed up with doctors. I know there not GOD but gee whiz if the test wont work on abx then why do it.

Okay i contacted igenex and she told me that taking meds would not hurt the igg/igm test.

That you had to be off abx if you to the pcr test i think is what she called it.
