Hi everyone,
I posted several weeks ago that I was having slow and subtle improvement in my awful neck/head/shoulder pain.
It has slowly improved over the last 8 weeks since going back on doxy and plaquenil.
This was the first significant improvement I had in pain, which started happening 9 months into treatment.
I still have pain in this area, but it is less and different...seems to have moved down and concentrated in the middle of the back of my neck and my upper back and trapezius muscles.
Intead of having the feeling of 3 vise grips squeezing my neck/head/shoulders constantly, I feel like I have 1 - 1 1/2 vise grips squeezing...a big improvement.
This pain was my last symptom to develop 1 year and 10 months ago.
My LLMD said that my last symptoms would improve first.
I am really hopeful. The rest of my fibromyalgia pain has been present for 22 years, so I expect that to take longer.
I just wanted to give others hope.
When you are feeling hopeless, something may happen that you least expected.
Don't ever give up!
I'm praying for all of you.

btmb03,
Thanks so much for your kind words.
This is huge for me....pain is my biggest symptom.

No thx necessary - fatigue and pain are my 'top two' too..so I can only imagine how good it must feel to have some less pain. Way to go!!
Funny thing, I hated doxy and plaquenil (not together), glad you're making progress!
