Topic: Questions about Woodland Essence Cryptolepsis

I was previously using Crypto-Plus, which is an herbal tincture with other herbs besides just cryptolepsis.
The first few times I took Crypto-Plus, I felt GREAT...and it wasn't until later in the day that I realized what it was that I had added that day. (so it's not like I "thought" myself into feeling good, if that makes sense)
And it was definitely the Crypto-Plus, because the next day I took just that with nothing else, and felt the same energy increase.
But then after about 5-6 days, that stopped happening, even though I was increasing the herbal tincture to higher dosages.
So my first question is...has anyone had this happen to them with cryptolepsis? Either improvements or herx symptoms from it seemed to go away quickly, like the stuff was loosing effectiveness?
Anyways, since I'm almost out of Cypto-Plus, I was thinking of ordering a different brand to compare brands.
Is Woodland Essence the brand recommended by Buhner? I'm pretty sure it is.
I went to the site, and they're selling it as 1, 2, or 4 oz. So my question is, what form is this coming in? Is it a liquid? Just dry herb I will need to put in capsules? etc.
And how much of it am I supposed to take?
I am so busy this week (in-laws coming into town) that I don't think I'll have time to do much research, so I'm hoping someone here can just tell me what brand to order, and what to do with it once I get it.
Thanks!!!!
PS--please also feel free to tell me your experiences with different brands, or if this brand did not help you, etc. I am open-minded. Wanting to try something new once my current stuff runs out..which is very soon!

Hi Hoosiers,
That's the brand we bought. I only tried it for a few days and I think it gave me increased night sweats. I didn't stick with it long enough but plan to try it again after the holidays.
It is a liquid that you add to water or juice. It's recommended by Buhner from what I understand. I think it gives the dose on the bottle...need to check and will get back to you.
I don't think there are many different brands out there.
Hope this helps.

Thank you!
Maybe I'll just get the 1 oz bottle to try it out?
How long do you think that would last me?
I'm thinking that should be good to start, because the Nutramedix bottles are 1 oz, and that's enough for a couple weeks even at a high dose.
But if I'll need to be using like a 1/2 tsp (lots of drops)...maybe I'll get the 2 oz.
Thanks!

1 oz doesn't last very long, go for the larger ones.
