Hello All;

I am 5 weeks and 2 days into Biaxin tx and the past week has been terrible with stomach bloating.

Like, not just annoying but downright uncomfortable and not a pretty sight!!!

Anyhow, I am on probiotics, yeast free, gluten free, dairy free, pretty much every thing free diet.

No weight gain at all - just bloat.

Was wondering what others do for stomach bloating? Any ideas? Help? Thanks. TG

Not to get too personnal here but are your bowels okay? If you aren't constipated and if you have no pain, look into the probiotics. It took me a few tries to find one that did not make me feel slighlty bloated. But if you are saying really bad bloating, check with your MD. Good luck.

You may need to ask your dr for some Diflucan (or Nystatin) or get something natural to KILL yeast.

Which probiotic are you on?

Don't take diflucan at the same time you are taking biaxin.

Am wondering why you say no biaxin w/diflucan.
My LLMD has me on biaxin/ceftin/mepron and diflucan 4days.
My natur.doc. also had me on biaxin and diflucan.

Thanks.. I take non dairy MegaFlora Probiotics. I have been taken them for years with good results. I cannot take the kind with dairy - allergy.

Bowels are fine...

I typically take natural anti-fungals but I have not over this 5+ course of Biaxin cuz it usually makes me herxs more.

Great thought though and I will just tough it out and take some Oil of Oregano and Oilve Leaf Extract..I have another supplement that has a 5 or 6 herb combo in it but that might be too much to start.

I see my LLMD next week and will speak to him about the possible Dilfucan - thanks. TG
