among the floaters, pallinopsia in the AM, scratchy eyes, I noticed my eyes feel like they are jumping when i fix on something, or a weird sensation when i move my head quickly, today i got copies of my medical notes from my LLMD appt and she noted nystagmus in my right eye....is this Lyme, babs, bart or what???....and what do others experience with eye symptoms.....

- Pretty common for lyme patients to have nystagmus, especially if the inner/middle ear or balance system (vestibular) is involved, as often is the case with lyme and other TBD (tick-borne disease).
Treatment helps resolve it.
In the meantime, magnesium and fish oil are a tremendous help. Rest eyes often. Consider learning Tai Chi or Qi Gong to help with retraining your balance system. Also very helpful is the DVD "Yoga for Your Eyes."
Do you have a good LLMD? Are you settling into a treatment protocol? -

well i have been on doxy since oct with some iv rocephn thrown in the middle then last week I started zithromax and was meant to start mepron today but insurance issue caused delay on that...
i have had eye issues for about 6 months, including abnormal tracking, vertigo, unable to watch tv floaters etc.....which has got better over time but since zith started it has been really noticeable again....
just wondered if it is typically the lyme or coinfection......

I've developed left down-beat nystagmus in both eyes since I've had Lyme. I've also had periods of vertigo (months). I will tell you I got so desperate with the vertigo that a naturalpath recommended rattlesnake venom and I took it. Must tell you I haven't had vertigo since. But no, I'm not telling anyone to take this.
