I used DMSA and it went fine. I've heard DMPS is better to use for mercury anyway. But that site fails to mention that to get the same results for the test using natural chelators you'd have to take an enormous amount of those too, and some of them like cilantro we don't even know the mechanisms for how it works.
Really the only other good option for testing would be for you to do chelation for couple months then get a hair test done.
So I wouldn't worry too much about it, after you collect your urine for the sample start taking a lot of chlorella and maybe get some pectasol to take too. But only use those after you've collected the urine.

My doc never mentioned taking chlorella- he didn't tell me to take anything afterwards..hmm
