I have a question regarding flaring/Flares. When you flare is that an indication that meds need to be changed? Is a flare when your body is fighting against the lyme? I get the herxing part and the whole four week flare in symptoms as this happens to me like clock work. Any input would be great. JKV -------------------- jkv44

4 week flare up, when it comes to Lyme, is just the 4 week life cycle of lyme. So it reappears and if you are still on Doxy/ceftin etc you will have a dieoff. Flare-ups for me typically happen when I travel or get really tired or worn down. I can sense the flareup so i usually double my antioxidants (juice plus)

Canefan, thanks for the info. Does the ramping up of the antioxidants help with the flare? Do you think during a flare taking more lemon/water, activated charcoal will help? Janice -------------------- jkv44
