Does anyone ever get a funny taste in their mouth?
I keep getting one and it is so hard to describe and I can't figure out what is causing it.
Sometimes it feels like it is coming from my throat or something because I will feel funny there.
Am I alone? Am I crazy?

The first few weeks I was on doxy, my mouth got really dry and had a funny taste, and I stopped being able to taste sweet things. Salt was still good.
Anything sweet just tasted completely bland. Normally I don't eat many sweet things anyway, but this happened to me over the holidays, with all the yummy treats around--tasteless mush.
Luckily for me, the effect went away after a few weeks.
I had a similar dry mouth effect (but not the taste issues) one time when I had taken a high dose of reishi mushroom capsules continuously for 2 months.
I don't know whether it can also be a Lyme symptom, but just about everything can be a Lyme symptom, so that is possible too.
No, you're not alone and you're not crazy.
