Hello everyone!!! It is Iceskater in Southern Delaware. I have been disabled from Lyme for the past five years. Fortunately, I have a terrific pain management program in addition to a wonderful chiropractor who I see at least once, if not twice weekly. My chiropractor is associated with a chiropractic group that has several offices in the state of Delaware. One of my chiropractor's patients in another office is a physician. He is currently with a plane and a humanitarian group on the ground in Haiti giving care. He is returning to Delaware over the weekend and is returning to Haiti in two weeks time with another plane full of supplies and other medical professionals. I humbly ask fellow Lymenetters for medical supply donations to send with the doctor. New, unused supplies are needed. The list includes but not limited to the following:
. gauze ( rolls, any width) . antibiotic ointment . splints . casts . bandages . adhesive tapes . ace bandages . gloves . face masks . energy bars . bottles of hand sanitizer . iodine bottles . gauze square pads( 2x2, 4x4, etc) . new sealed sterile bottles of children's Tylenol, Alleve, or Baby Asprin. Children's doses are vastly different than adults and are in short supply.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please send me a private message if you are interested in helping. I will send you information where to send donations .
This cause is dear to my heart as I was a registered nurse prior to lyme disability.
Thank all of you for your help!!!! -- Iceskater--

Rather than go to the drugstore and buy items to mail to you, it may be easier for people to order the stuff from Amazon and have them mail it directly to you.
There is a brand of medical supplies called First Aid Only that gets discounted alot, so that your dollar will go further.
You get free shipping with a $25 order. If you have signed up for Amazon Prime, you can get two day shipping to anywhere (in the U.S.), for any size order.

Hi Tutu: Can't answer your question with absolute certainty, but perhaps, it is because right now he is on the ground in Haiti and not here in the US. He emailed the chiropractor's office with a wish list and probably didnt think of that option. Any Lymenetter that can help in anyway, we will gladly accept your donation.
Thanks and Hugs again, Iceskater
