Strange question..my daughter noticed my eyes were extremely blooh shot, even first thing in the morning. She asked me the other day why my eye was bleeding.
I'm on some new medications one being Tindamax. Could this be a possible side effect of this or any medication?

Are you herxing from the Tindamax?
I got really bad bloodshot eyes after my first or second Bactrim DS dose. I was also having lots of VERY noticable other herx symptoms though, like feeling feverish, achey, flu-like, crying, etc.
I think it was a Bartonella herx.
The bloodshot eyes were only for the first day though, maybe the second day too a little. Then it got better. So I'm not sure if it was Bart flaring, or just a consequence of such a powerful herx.
The whites were very noticably pink, and they were kind of squinty and swollen looking.
Check the side effects list too though if you haven't.

I believe that spirochetes like ocular fluid. I was always getting burst capillaries in the whites of my eyes until I started antibiotics and began to improve. Nine months into antibiotics and my eyes, especially my right eye, is still bothering me but not nearly what it was.

There are many reports of conjunctivitis being reported with the new flu. Doctors are puzzled.
