I have SIBO in addition to lyme and am curious how many of you have tried the antibiotic Xifaxin and whether it helped with your GI lyme problems.

Hubby took this for a month or two a couple of years ago after his paralyzed ileus. I think he only took one capsule daily. He felt it was very helpful with G.I. symptoms.

I took it, and I liked it. I was told I couldn't have a die off reaction on it though, but I did.

Try the no fructose diet Myco...I had SIBO too and it truly helps. Dr. Pimintel's book on this is helpful too. [Smile]
