I have just started taking LDN (2 nights) and have been doing the Banderol (just at a few drops) for about 2 weeks. Have noticed increased nausea during this time, with it being really bad this morning. Also an intensification of neuropathic pain. Could this be the Banderol and/or LDN? It does feel like a herx. I think the LDN is actually making me feel groggy rather than wired. Any advice: stay on it, get off it, etc.?
Thanks

I would guess the nausea is from the Banderol.

I have never heard of LDN causing any kind of Stomach upset, and when used in its original form for Drug Abuse a dose over ten times higher is used, without a problem.

Not sure about what is causing the other symptoms.

One other consideration is the filler used in the Naltrexone. Some pharmacies that are not familiar with the standard compounding procedures will use Lactose as a filler.

If you are Lactose intolerant the filler can cause Stomach upset. The approved LDN pharmacies use Acidophiles as a filler, not Lactose.

What dose of LDN? I had nausea, sick , ill feeling when I first started LDN 2.25 mg and then when I tried to go 4.5 mg got really bad. Start low and slow with LDN-some say it maybe a herx reaction.

It is 2.0. It really does feel like a herx, though I have never had stomach symptoms before. Maybe I will just cut it in half for a while. Something is making me feel very tired as well.

yes-cut back to 1.0 and stay there for awhile ..maybe a month? then go to 2.0 and work you way up to the recommended 4.5 mg dose over time (if you can)or find out what works for you.

Are you sleeping well on the LDN? Lots of ppl do not, at least for awhile. I am one of them and am very tired b/c of the sleep issue.

I am in the middle of a neuro explosion/herx or flare since I'm now on month 3 since stopping drugs/hers. something scary and stopped sleeping all together. I intro'd LDN 1.0 mg and so far I'm sleeping better-- from 2-3 hrs night with medication to 4-5 hours. I had been on ldn year before last at 2.25mg and found that eventually I slept ok on it eventually. I had also introd' it at that time during bad period/not sleeping well. it took a few months but eventually got back to sleeping. I never went to the 4.5 mg. Not sure if that would have caused a problem or not.
