Yes, it takes someone with half a brain anyway to fight these battles. I can remember when I was fighting SS disablity, Metlife Long Term Disablity and medical insurance Humana all at the same time.

Humana starting out paying for LLMD. 2 times, the third visit they said no more. Find someone in our area. When I appealed they called all the ID in city and all said they would treat Lyme Disease. What a joke.

I was so loaded down with paperwork in horrible brain fog and could only work on all these for one hour or two. It was horrible.

I was so mentally sick, I even mailed my Metlife LTD papers to them without looking that my PCP had mistakenly circled that I could stand, sit, walk, bend and stretch for 8 hrs every day.

Did that ever bite me in the rear?? Even though my doc and I sent them "corrected forms". They mysteriously disappeared from their file. Therefore it didn't stand up when I hired lawyer to fight Metlife.

Judge ruled in LTD favor, but firmly told them he was not impressed for the case they built against my claim. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be.

At least I did win SS disablity.
