- How is you got this without having your doctor give it to you?
We cannot tell you by this test if you do or do not have lyme. However, your doctor - looking at the test along with your history and symptoms - will have a better idea of what to tell you. You are seeing a very good LL PA.
When is your next appointment? I still can't believe you got the test results without having your doctor give them to you and discuss it. Very unusual. Did they mail it to you from their office?
As you've often stated, you have other chronic stealth infections that can certainly explain your symptoms. No need to be alarmed but, yes, other viruses do cause chronic symptoms, too.
Your LL PA should be able to advise you will all that - or refer you to another specialist.
We could give you all sorts of suggestions but you really need to wait for your LL PA's interpretation and advice.
For now, are you following the self-care set in Burrascano's guidelines? Just do the best you can and this will work out.
With #41, and the INDs, there is still a chance that you could have lyme. Again, more information is needed and only your LL PA has your full picture. Whatever is going on, you are getting closer to figuring it out. Self-care now matters so just do the best you can.
Whatever is going on - and that will soon become clearer - your body will heal better the more relaxed you can be - and also with some enjoyment. Music, art, whatever gives you a healthy outlet . . . . be sure to add enjoyment to the list of things that brings benefit. -

My LLMD thought that an IND on band 34 plus a + on band 41 plus the symptoms my daughter was having was enough to warrant a trial of abx. The reaction (herx) to the abx confirmed diagnosis so he continued to treat her until she was symptom-free.

Tough call Street129. I'm not sure what I'd do. There is very little there.

That is why it's a clinical diagnosis. It could be that your body isn't making antibodies to the Lyme bacteria. I would see if your Dr will treat and see if you have a herxheimer reaction from it. Then retest through IgeneX again later and see what pops up then.

My tests were indeterminate too. One thing you could do is call Dr. H of Igenex. He takes calls on Mondays and Tuesdays and is more than willing to explain your report and give feedback.
He recommended I do an additional test, the 31 epitope, because it was very specific for lyme. They can use the blood they already have, you just need to have your doctor sign off.
I also have CFS and many viruses, and know that they can cross react with band 31, and many bacteria/parasites can cross-react with band 41.
