I have a friend who I suspect has lyme. I took the "Under Our Skin" DVD to let him and his wife watch it.
He also feels at this point that he has it.
I just talked with his wife today, and she asked me if steroids would make hime worse. I told her yes.
He went to the doc a couple of weeks ago and was given steroids for his joint pain. Long story short, he's been worse since.
I need to know if anyone out there can tell me what he can do to help himself. He has four children and has to work. He is is SEVERE pain.
He knows that he is going to have to get some help from a LLMD. But in the mean time, he has to try and keep on going.
Would detox tea help?? I'm thinking he needs something to get the steroids out of his system.
Any suggestions???

Tell him to get some high quality mangosteen or some other good antioxidant that is also a GOOD anti-inflammatory.
The anti-inflammatory is the most important.. to help his pain.
Even something like tumeric. Go to the health food store and ask what is good!!!
I feel for him!

Thank you SOO much!! We are dealing with lyme at my house, but I feel so sorry for them.
He is only 30, and has four children. If my daughter and I need to stay at home, it's ok. But he feels like he has to go to work even if he doesn't feel like it.
I will call her and tell her to get the mangosteen!
