- Gentiana can be a very hard herb to take - it can cause nausea if not in a specifically balanced formula. Please ask your LL PA about whatever you consider.
The BioTox Elim that your LLPA gave you and the SpiroNIL (Teasel root) are doing exactly what you seek from the Gentiana - but will not cause the degree of stomach upset that Gentiana will on its own.
So, fortunately, you are already taking something to cleanse heat and resolve toxins. Adding to that could be too much right now. However, your LLPA may have some suggestions for the next step.
Everything you take matters and can alter the course of the plan outlined by him. Believe me, he knows about liver support but if you have things you want to consider, just ask him. For your next appointment, you can take in a print out of the product and the ingredient list so he will know exactly what all to consider.
You've only just started on the BioTox Elim and SpiroNIL. It takes a while for them to work but they can be a very nice help of this journey.
Did your doctor give you other supplement suggestions?
Turmeric (or curcumin) might be one you could easily add to what you are doing and has similar effects to what you were seeking from Gentiana. Your doctor could guide you in this regarding dose, brand, etc. and if it might be good for you. Eating food with turmeric would certainly help. -

- Another thread about Green Tea just reminded me that is something you can probably add on your own. A couple cups a day (not too late in the day, though). Check out a CHAI GREEN or GREEN CHAI, if you like those spices in your tea. -
