It changes so often day to day, mood, thoughts, and it was always friendly. How do u deal with not being able to stay grounded through hell? Just started progesterone cream, hormones all over the place low. My doc told me I'll be needing less of the psych Meds once my hormones get more balanced. Llmd just put me on adrenavive 2 at bed last week cause am cortisol was through the roof. Doing bicillin shot soon today. Yesterday am, bad mood but mentally stable, todsy, feel like I had breakdown. Doing ceftin and zithro. Long time till this stuff works? Ondamed came out almost nervous breakdown, 3 frequencies nervous system, psychoautomotive, cerebrum., joy of life...

I agree with Dave. Watch comedy - nothing violent or sad. Tell yourself it is the infection, not you. Get your mind off of things doing a hobby you enjoy. I like to paint. Take a walk through a forest or along a river- some place quiet.

I get hugs from my children. All of the above. I pray, worship and read the bible.

I try to get sun on my face.

I finally discovered a great woman therapist who I seen off and on for 5 years. At one point I was seeing her every couple weeks.

As I felt better mentally, I tapered off to once a month. Even went 2 years and didn't see her. One day it all changed and I could no longer handle illness and outside family issues.

Back to the therapists again. She's a social worker who works with chronic ill patients. She dug me out again.

Mental/medical insurance will cover so many visits a year. This therapists also took Medicare and so I had no co-pays with her.

So worth it. Don't try to be superwoman or superman find someone you can talk too. My PCP recommended this one and he was so right about her. Mental health is part of physical health.
