i'm not sure this is liver pain but it might be. could be stomach, i don't know.

it's the area under (looking down) my right rib. from where the rib curves in the middle down to navel and around to the side. feels very swollen and sore. it's a constant 2-4 pain and never stops. it keeps me up at night.

so i'm thinking a) very large busted. could be from the ole chest laying on that side cause i sit a lot, b) could be liver acting up or c) pancreas, or d) costrochronditis but itwouldn't be on one side.

anybody had this? geez, since i started buhner all kinds of crap has started, so lastly, all this is a herx?

I've had pain there the whole time I've been ill, off and on pain. Felt like something like the liver or some organ was swollen and everything felt crammed in there like it barely fit.

I had 2 ct scans and a gallbladder test. I had 3 liver cyst show up, but it was nothing serious. No one could ever say what the pain was, except probably some kind of inflammation.

You should have it checked out though. Could be something serious.

nah, i'm not going to bother. i'm beginning to hate doctors, i mean really.

thank you sooo much responding. i feel so stupid sometimes asking all these questions, but then somebody else says "oh yeah, me too" and then i go "well dang, i'm not crazy after all."

if i know what others have then i can tough it out.

and yes, feels like stuff is all jammed in there.

My was sooooo big it felt like it was pressing on my lungs and made it difficult to breath. I've done several hulda clark liver cleanses and several coffee enemas. It is soooo much better. But that's just me, but according to the IDSA and maybe several folks here, its probably placebo I experienced. Sooooo many people have opinions.

I tried the liver cleanse without expectation, and felt it helped. I've done as many as 8 cleanses, losing count.

If you choose this path, do your home, its more then just doing the cleanse. Actually there is someone who specializes in liver cleanses. I won't endorse or suggest you use them. It is based on your own homework.

The hulda clark cleanse is very cheap, but you need to do it right. You need to support the kidneys and you need to stay hydrated before and after. Otherwise you might not experience a benefit. I also suggest you get some bile salts after the cleanse.

Randibear,

If it were me, I would have your liver enzymes checked. Recently you were on a lot of Flagyl due to C Diff and that is a med that is hard on the liver.

Not sure if you were on Diflucan in the last few months, but that is another med that can be hard on the liver.

For me, I learned to listen if there is any pain in that area. Just my humble opinion. It is better to be safe. Hope you feel better.
