In order to possibly help others here, I wanted to give everyone an update on my abx treatment plan. I started on abx for LD in July 2008.

I have been on Tindamax and Cipro for about a month now and feel much better.

I had gotten about 80% better after 3 months on Doxy and Zith, followed by 3 months on Biaxin and Flagyl. I feel the Biaxin/Flagyl combo helped the most at that time.

I then tried Levaquin with no noticeable improvement. I still had sore soles, which is a hallmark of Bart.

I went back on Doxy and Zith for a few months and then tried Biaxin and Flagyl for a few months with no noticeable improvement.

After being on Tindamax 500 mg and Cipro 250 mg (both twice daily) for the past month, my energy level and focus have improved significantly. I am doing 3 weeks on and one week off with this abx combo.

I don't want to jinx myself, but I would say I am about 90-95% better now. My feet, calves, and shins are not hurting like before, and I actually ran for a few minutes the other day without pain for the first time in years.

That is awesome. I started treatment the same time as you exactly and have run similar results with multi combos of meds.

Hope you kick it!
