Topic: How often is AV block permanent/reversed?

Does anyone have experience with the permanence of AV heart block? Does having a permanent pacemaker installed reduce the likelihood of reversal of the AV block? What medications work the best relative to reversing this effect? Should I forget about reversibility as a possibility? Thanks for your help.
