FOUND THIS AT IGENEX WEBSITE

A positive IgG result with clinical history may be indicative of Lyme disease. Patients with other spirochetal disease and/or who test positive for rheumatoid factor or
[b]Epstein Barr virus may have cross-reacting antibodies.

A positive response in this, as in any antibody assay, indicates sensitization, not necessarily active disease

THESE VIRUSES ARE MY DOWN [confused] FALL...and candidas

they are... cfs, hhv6, [Eek!] mycobacterium, hsv1, cmv, pirovirus, and Epstein Barr virus....

these 6 viruses and the one bacteria, is having a party inside of me, making me real sick, especially when they are active...there are so many of them, who knows how much can be active at the same time, making me very, very ill.

so i have to stop the parties by seeing the dr, so he can keep a check on my health, and give
me prescriptions for these buggers to help keep and put them in remission, and then i would not be as ill...right now with the little things he has prescript, today im about 35 percent...ok

well,..back to the chronic fatigue board...even thou its boring over there. i will be still seeing the dr. for prescriptions..and for him to keep a check on my liver, i have noone else to

monitor my viruses to help me get back to at lest 70%, like before i hit rock bottom, no regular pcp will ever understand or gets it....if they did, i would be going to them so they can keep a check on things. but im keeping the llmd, since the office test for [Roll Eyes] other dieases.

Does this mean you are not going to follow up in person with the LLMD?

Many, many w/LD have the same viruses, I have tested pos for these viruses and LD and they both need treatment. These viruses are difficult to treat, viruses even when treated must pretty much run their course and go dormant. For some this can take months or years. Viruses do "run" w/LD so LD must be treated as well. If LD is controlled it seems the viruses start retreating.

Band's 31 and 39 are pretty specific and LLMd's know that an IND is not negative, something was seen. For more info on band breakdown:
http://www.truthaboutlymedisease.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15

If you are worried your LD test is a false positive there is another test available.

IGeneX also now offers a new 30-31kDa Confirmation IgG and IgM test. If results from the initial Western Blot are positive for bands 30 OR 31, it is possible that these could be due to cross-reactivity with several different types of viruses. In this confirmatory test, highly specific recombinant antigens are used to validate that the positive result is not due to cross-reaction with viruses.

If ONLY band 31 is positive and no other specific bands are positive, it is recommended to have tests #488 and #489 31 kDa epitope Igm/Igg to make sure borrelia hasn't crossed reacted with several possible viruses....but AGAIN ONLY IF BAND 31 ALONE is positive.

Medically viruses may be tough to treat, but with mixed herbals they may not be so tough.

VIVI from Systemic Formulas or Viro-Ex from
Inno-Vita work well IME.

Same with candida. # 4 from Systemic or Fung-Ex from Inno-Vita. And NO massive carb restriction for most people.

I STILL wonder why the Mycobacterium is not being addresses????

Please ask the LLMD specifically about that.

Good luck and listen to the doc!
