I still think I am having a herx. I've just never had one that lasted more than a few days. This mother is going into its second week! Is this typical of bart?

I know you should not stop and restart Rifampin, but how about lowering the dosage for a few days? I only take 450mg. Would it be ok to skip one day or so?

Some say you should not pulse Rifampin, some say their LLMDs did...what to do?

You might want to ask your LLMD about taking rifabutin instead. I don't know if would be easier on you, but may be worth a try.

I would not lower your dose w/o getting the ok from your doctor. I'd say upping the dose and pulsing would be better than lowering a daily dose...but of course you'd have to discuss with your doctor.
