I made it myself through two good size department stores! I struggled, had to walk slow, but I did it! I didn't walk every aisle, but I got to look at a leisurely pace and not go into a panic state and get super super weak. It was Lowes and Target. I never thought I'd post something as dumb as this as an accomplishment, but hey....
Only two differences the last three days: started supplementing natural testosterone cream and am now on an adrenal support supplement recommended by my PCP that is supposed to help with balancing catecholamines and support adrenals.
This was after I did 6 min on a stationary bike.
Tomorrow, I'll be back telling you how bad I feel. lol.

congratulations- I know you've had a hard time with this disease. I hope the changes from the hormonal support products continue to help!
Also, as far as exercise- I always try to remember that the littlest bit of exercise still 'counts' if you've been completely house-bound. 6 minutes on an exercycle is still exercise and has to be good. Short walks down the block are exercise. Wandering around WalMart is exercise, even though the environment is very difficult on us when we're neurologically damaged and the lights/stimuli are unpleasant. For the past 2 months I've had trouble leaving the room, which is extremely frustrating because at other times in my illness I"ve been able to exercise quite intensively, and I keep having to remember to not beat myself up about it when I do get out and can't do very much exercise.

Great News! Keep us posted as to how you feel the next day.
This is not a 'dumb accomplishment' at all. This is a postive step forward in your recovery. I have come to learn with lyme to take these 'windows' of positive events to keep me going.
We are so hard on ourselves, and when I mean 'we' I really mean me!
Congrats again!

That is huge news!!! Congrats! Lowe's and Target - woo hoo!
And after 6 min on a stationary bike - whoa! Awesome.
I remember the first time I walked up the stairs at Ikea, and then made it through part of the store... It was big news around here.

I think thats a great accomplishment! And you should feel very good about it. It doesn't matter if you do pay for it later.....you still did it! Don't forget that part!
It doesn't matter how silly or small it sounds; for us lymies is it like climbing Mt Everest!
Its a great accomplishment!

Hoosuiers51, it's called Catecholcalm. It's a mixture of 6-7 different things. The ingredient list sounds good. L-Theanine has helped me somewhat in the past too.
Thanks everyone. I guess little things do matter even if they are very little.

Always great to see good news here. And a matter of optimism to celebrate that as an achievement instead of lamenting that you couldn't do more.
Good for you on both counts.

That's great news. It still counts as progress no matter how small it seems.

Yes, Keebler that's it! My doc doesn't charge so much for it though.
It must be helping or the testosterone. I'm having significant issues with muscle tightness and my spine feels stiff. My legs/feet are sore. However, I've been more active the last week than for a long, long time.
I've been on my stationary bike every single day for 6-7 minutes. I walked through a Super WalMart with my wife w/o an issue except for my back locking up. That is a big deal of course, but the anxiety was not there one bit. I have felt more alive, fatigue periods have been much shorter in duration, but are bad when they hit. I've still got major, major issues to contend with to ever function correctly.
If I would've done this pattern a few months ago, I'd be in horrible shape on my way to the ER.
There may really be something to this supplement OR I really do have serious anxiety issues I underestimated.

Horrid chills now for hours, got so exhausted at 9 PM last night I couldn't stay awake anymore, super foggy head today, seasick feeling, ahhh...back to reality, up there comes gravity...Eminem song.
Never once does TBIs let me forget how tough they are. My only explanation is I have a gas tank that is 1/4 full at best ever.
Did I **** off Babesia perhaps?
