I took it with food. It's hard on the gut. I actually ended up not being able to tolerate it, but it wasn't GI problems, it was because it took me from 90% to 40% ... just stopping it brought me back up to 90%!! Some meds work for some, other meds work for others.

My stomach has been bloating lately and I cant figure out why.
I've switched from Liver Defend to just Milk Thistle
I wonder if my liver is struggling
I think I'm gonna take a few days off supplements and use lemon water. Let the liver heal a little and let the body catch up.

I take my Zithro with food. I take all my meds with food or it makes my stomach too upset.

Except for Rifampin hubby takes all meds with food. It may decrease absorption of certain meds slightly, but he has had so many G.I. problems since the beginning of his illness that his LLMD's agree he should take meds with food.
