This makes me angry! His paper makes a conclusion that ticks can't transmit bartonella based on his biased assumptions of other reported cases, not scientific facts!! The only conclusion that he could maybe make here is that more studies need to be performed to better understand transmission, etc.
Seriously, what is wrong with his colleagues and other medical professionals? Anyone reviewing this stuff objectively would realize there is no value here..... ugh....

The Worm and Co need to have studies done on them. It would go something like this.
Put numerous infected ticks on each IDSA board member. Leave ticks on for 47 hours. I think they say it takes 48 hours for the tick to pass lyme to a human.
Once they become ill, leave them untreated for 2 years. Then at that point treat the Worm for 4 weeks and treat the others for 5 years. Unless of course their Elisa and WB test comes back negative; then no treatment will be needed and this will make the study null and void. That will too bad!
At this time give them various diagnoses, such as FM, CFS, MS, or mental disoder...... or maybe its just the "aches and pains of daily living"!
If LD is so hard to get and so easy to treat, they should not mind volunteering for this study!

How are we certain that the ticks carry bart?
We may have been carriers of Bart (in fact a lot of people probably are)... but lyme brings down our immune system and crap bacteria that's been in our bodies for years comes roaring out.
Fact is we don't know much about all of this crap.
When my Lyme symptoms started i was diagnosed with H Pylori as well. Did MY tick carry H Pylori too?
Doubt it. Borrelia just cleared the path for it.

Prior to Dr B addressing it in his work- I asked if he please would do so because we were having big problems with it years ago and really needed help - I sent him 45 medical citations/articles stating Bart was found in ticks.
There are more published now.. but originally I found 45 of them.
