Very possible. Especially if you were just tested for babesiosis microti strain and you have duncani strain.
The coinfection tests can only test for a few strains. Meanwhile, many strains of these diseases exist.

Not only could you have other strains of Babesia, but your symptoms can mimic other tick-related co-infections that are not tested for or well-known about.
Judging from what I've read, researched and experienced, if your doctor thinks your symptoms relate to Babesia, they most likely do.

Does Labcore do a better job testing for coinfections compared to Fry?
I'm so confused with all this coinfections. One doctor says no the other says yes.
Who do I listen too?
