Hello everyone,

I have been on a treatment plan for 6 months now. Just recently I began to have liver problems due to the antibiotics. My LLMD said that tindamax was hard on the liver. I have been on tindamax for 4 months now. I have been off all antibiotics for 2 weeks now. And although I wouldn't say I was 100% better. I am about 95% myself. I still feel slight Lyme pains here and there. But overall I feel pretty darn good.

I was having alot of abdominal issues and kidney pain while on antibiotics. And since I have stopped the meds all those pains have gone away. I was on a good probiotic. I was taking 2 VSL#3 daily. I was also taking ceftin, tindamax, zithromax, hydrocortisone, vitamin D, and crypto plus. I am scared to go back on all the antibiotics especially when all of my side affect pain is gone.

Isn't there a herbal route I could try that would finish up my treatment and not be so hard on my body. My liver is having alot of problems and I'm scared to restart more problems.

Plus, I normally herx REALLY bad the week before my period and I didn't herx at all this time before my period.

Has anyone else been through something similar?

Thanks, tiffagoo

I liked the Buhner protocol. My LLMD used the core herbs with me - andrographis, resveratrol, banderol, and cat's claw/samento. If you decide on herbs and go downhill instead up staying well/improving, I'd get back on abx so you don't lose the progress.

Don't ignore those slight Lyme pains as they are an indication it's still there.

I'd stick with the Vitamin D.

You could use some herbals to help improve liver health then do herbals for lyme + its buddies.

www.inno-vita.com and / or
www.systemicformulas.com

have very liver specific herbal mixes to help the liver function a lot better.

A book now titled "The Healing Triad" by Jack Tips PhD ND may also be helpful.

Some posters keep claiming that I am advertising but I feel they can't really read too well.

I have used Systemic Formulas products since the mid-1990s + Inno-Vita for about 2 years. My recommendations come from RESULTS that my patients have had.
