Years ago I bought liquid probiotics for babies. I just did a search on google and it looks like they still make liquid probiotics. You should be able to get some made especially for her age group.
I hope she feels better very soon.
Edited to add: It would probably be OK to break open a capsule but it might be hard to determine an appropriate dose. If it were me, I just get the kind that is meant for her age group.

there are chewable stawberry acidopillus at the regular old pharmacy. they taste like strawberries.
But then keep them out of reach because she may want more and more as they taste like candy!

You can mix them in a soft food. I have done this rather than but the more expensive powdered children's probiotics. I really like to put it in yougurt.

Primadophilus by Nature's Way is a chewable tablet for kids ages 2-12.
I have found them at Market Street and Sprouts in the refrigerated section.
They come in orange and cherry flavor.
