My daughter has complained of chest pain once in awhile for years. DOctors never followed up with anytesting because it is so infrequent. Well tonight she has complained quite a bit about it. She said she burps and throws up in her mouth a little.
I think she has reflux.
I am not a doctor.
IF she were crying in pain we would be at the ER. Her pulse is strong and regular and not too fast.
SHe is not sweaty.
she is eating and drinking ok.
she does not have lyme. I am going to watch her closely, I have given her pepcid and tylenol to see if that helps.
I am going to bring her to the doctor tomorrow.
what do you all think?
please dont say she is going to die call an ambulance. I surely would If I thought she was bad off.
anyones child have reflux that they need meds for? dhshe had reflux as a baby.

Merrygirl I have a niece who has Crones and Celiac.
Proven through biopsy and dna testing. She had
projectile vomiting as a baby and chronic low blood
sugar. Many times she complained of coming up in
her throat. She has it under control now.

I assume pain in the esophagus due to reflux could be interpreted as chest pain.
Best of luck to you MG!

My adult daughter is sick with some kind of contagious lung infection that causes a lot of pain but no coughing. She says some people have been hospitalized because of it. Maybe your daughter is sick with this.
