Well you may have seen my post 2 weeks ago tlaking about the tough time on Rifampin? anyway the situation progressed into a major GI issue....which is my first in 19 months of treating.
The GI issue as well as the anxiety Got so uncomfortable i finally called my LLMD. She has placed me on 2 week holiday....which is also a first....i guess for now i am happy....
any thoughts?

Enjoy your holiday I think I was on tx about 19 months when I took a holiday away from them. Unfortunately my symptoms all started coming back within the first few weeks.
Are you going to be taking herb/supps still or a holiday from everything?

still taking herbs for detoxing and my usual supplements....i think this comes at a good time as my acupuncturist is trying to help me detox...i will only be off for 14 days...hopefully nothing gets out of hand

Hey Dave I am in the exact same boat. Had to take a break due to mysterious abdominal issues. Drink tons of lemon water and good garlic supplements to clean things out in the meantime.
Bummer too because I could eat Rifampin like M&M's and it helps me a ton. You?
