Anyone know if it can be purchased in Mexico? I am moving to Southern CA soon, so if it would be available over the border maybe I could wait till then and travel to Mexico for it. I am not sure if controlled substances are sold openly in Mexico? Is it only the non-controlled ones?
My LLMD is supportive of me trying this to get deeper sleep, they just don't prescribe it because of the class it's in.
I am in the process of finding a doctor to prescribe it for me. I am not sure if I will succeed or not, honestly. Considering how expensive and tiring seeing so many doctors is, it might be better for me to just get it another way if I can.
My local GP was unwilling to write a script for me to get a sleep study done, so I'm pretty sure they won't be willing to rx Xyrem. They are basically only good for referring me places, and right now, it's becoming a ridiculous waiting game that I'm loosing patience with (waiting for appointments, getting nothing done, getting referred somewhere else). Plus, I have to drive an hour one way to get to their office.
The local CFS clinic will cost over $1,000 for my first appointment, so in my head, I'm thinking just getting Xyrem elsewhere might be worth it, to try it out first. So I am open to buying it somewhere online, such as from an overseas pharmacy.
The only problem with buying it online, is I just would want to know it is real, obviously.
If anyone knows where I can get this drug, please let me know. Mexico, website, etc....just need to be pointed in the right direction. Or what kind of specialist frequently prescribes it?
Thanks.
