So I'm reading about Herxing a bit and I'm still a little fuzzy. Is it a specific reaction or just a general feeling of hurting?
I'm wondering because when the dr. that originally treated me 7 months ago put me on antibiotics I felt worse on them than I did before I started them and that was pretty bad. Was that herx reaction?

It very well could have been a herx.
I think the reactions vary from person to person, but it often is kind of flulike symptoms after you start treatment.
I know I questioned my LLMD about a reaction I have had EVERY TIME I have been on amoxyl for the past 10 or so years, before lyme was even on the radar.
A day or so after I'd start taking it, I'd feel like crap--achy, headaches, generally feeling worse--and it would last a week or so.
He wasn't convicned it was a herx, but I'm not so sure...
