My LLMD ran some blood last week and apparently my magnesium and Vitamin D were low...
The nurse told me to take the magnesium before bed, but didnt say anything about the vitamin D...
my main question is when should I take these in relation to my ABX?
I take amoxy at 8am, 3pm, 10pm... Since she told me to take the Mg before bed is it ok if I take it with the Amoxy at 10? I dont want anything to screw up my ABX cause they seem to be working.
Thanks, A

I don't know what he may tell you,
but D works like a hormone so with that in mind
you might try it like most do other hormones.
Either first thing am or pm. I like to do my
thyroid at 5 that way I am good to go for the rest of the day without fear of malabsorbtion from meds.

My lyme doc's rule was that you had to take supplements at least 2 hours away from antibiotics.
Otherwise, the amoxi can destroy the vit D, for example.
So, you could take magnesium and Vit D at 11 a.m., for example.
But, it is always best to take vitamins and minerals with food (better absorption that way), so you may want to take them with your lunch. But, you have to take them before 1 p.m. so that you are at least 2 hours away from the 3 p.m. doxy.
This points up the way lymies have to live--by the clock. You always have to watch the time because every 2 hours or so it is time to take something--med, supplement, etc.
Also, Vit D needs some fat to be absorbed, so lunch is probably a good meal for that. If you take it with breakfast, the breakfast can't be cereal and skim milk because there is no fat in such a meal.
