Topic: test for ammonia??

i have only had one doctor test for ammonia levels, which i understand if high can do significant damage.
are you being tested for ammonia? apparently a lot of docs don't and should.
i was told it's important because as you treat the dying ketes give off ammonia and you need to detox a lot. if too high, you'll have to stop treatment until they go back down.
anybody heard about this?
do not look back when the only course is forward

I don't have an answer but am curious as to the the symptoms of high ammonia?
I was wondering lately about dying ketes and acidosis. TG
