I'm not a big soda drinker but about a month ago i drunk some pepsi and started haveing some major kidney pain. I never gave it much thought
as my kidneys have been hurting off and on for a while now. Today i drunk two cans of pepsi and the kidney pain is so bad i can hardly stand up
straight. Anyone else have this problem or know what causes it? I've had a cat scan done on them urine tests and blood work done over the past few months and everything seems fine.

- Yeah, either way you cut it, sodas can sink us. They are loaded with sugar - or toxic artificial sweeteners that can zoom excitatory neurotoxicity to the moon. Even one can do damage from several different angels and that can trigger a cascade of events.
Green Tea comes in all sorts of varieties now. Chai is one of my favorites.
Pomegranate Juice is one of the best refreshments for us. Stevia (from the Stevia plant) is a safe plant-based sweetener that can be added. Be sure to buy pure pomegranate juice, with nothing at all added. Same with cranberry juice - nothing added. Then you can add your one pure stevia.
Best to buy these in a glass bottle as plastic leeches chemicals that damage our brain and endocrine functions.
Hope these suggestions help.
Of course as SGK suggests, stay in touch with your doctor as kidney infections can lead to permanent damage.
Have you been check for diabetes? The sugar rush (or even the artificial sweetener rush) could have been harder on you if you have blood sugar problems. Lyme patients are at increased risk for developing diabetes, so it's really important to be proactive.
Also - be sure to drink plenty of water. And remember PROBIOTICS as that will also help urinary health.
Hope this gets better. -
