I noticed that our LLMD has an IV room. Yet, he recommends doing the IV Rocephin at home. What are the advantages of doing it in the office vs at home?

You'll save time and money doing it at home. It isn't that hard to do yourself.

It's so much easier to do at home, I can't imagine having to go to the doctor every single day for it.

I guess if you needed help doing them, you could have them done in the office?

my doc would stick you in a different spot everyday to avoid getting a PICC line, but I'd rather have the PICC line

so I don't have to see him everyday (and pay him ) So, do it at home, I do it and I live alone. Sometimes I get

my girlfriend to wrap my arm for showers, it's easier to get a tighter, more waterproof wrap when

someone else does it for you.....
