I just had an allergy panel done and found out what foods im allergic to. surprising lemons was the highest, makes some since since lemon water never helped with my detox. tragically brewers yeast was second highest and i nearly died of sorrow when i saw it .
anyway my question is that i tested very low for allergy to gluten and wheat products. that being said can i now eat wheat products? i know flour turns to sugar and is bad for yeast but i thought wheat is used by your body and dont convert as much to sugar. will i be safe consuming this? pleas say yes i would love to have wheat buns with burgers again.

You could try it and see what happens. I am no expert but I think of those allergy panels as a starting place for an elimination diet.
What is convincing is what happens when you eliminate foods and then add them back in.
For my daughter's test, we were supposed to eliminate all the allergens for a period of time, then add them back in slowly, one at a time.
Hers came back that wheat wasn't a problem for her, when we know, without a doubt, that it is. That shook my faith in the whole test, I have to admit.

well ive never had a problem with wheat, i just was worried about sugar so i didnt eat any flour products. not a bad idea on full eliminating them then adding to see how you feel. problem is that my symptoms are so up and down i dont always know whats causeing the problem.
