Night sweats, fatigue, etc. all left, but I had lingering air hunger. When the air hunger was gone, I knew the babesia was.

Good question because Babesia can be a-symptomatic in many people. I am thinking I am one of them, besides occassional night sweats which I am not sure isn't hormonal.

Babs was a clinical diagnosis for my daughter, she had all the classic symptoms but a negative test. The LLMD said there are like 17 or something strains of babesia and Igenix only tests for a few of them.

Yes any co-infections really should be clinically diagnosed even w/a negative test.
I have learned one thing, if treatment progress is very slow and you have done only antibiotics, then Babesia is very likely because antibiotics won't hit it. It needs a combo like, Zith/Mepron/Artemisinin or Biaxin/Malarone/Art, etc.
Really good LLMd's will just cover all ground including Babesia.
I have progressed too slowly and had numerous negative Babesia tests, but I am now (after many abx combo's in nearly 4 years) thinking that Bab's is likely an issue, because I have done no Bab's treatment. At least one LLMd calls Babesia the "gatekeeper" - when it is addressed many report progress.
