i have not been able to breathe out of my nose for almost a year.
my primary care says it's just allergies. take otc meds. but i can't because they cause irregular heartbeats and now with this heart, i don't dare.
my nose is always dry and i have to use a saline spray about every couple of hours. sometimes at night i get up to use it also.
i am very sore over my eyebrows. in fact one spot is so sore i can't touch it. also sore along the cheekbone.
so has your lyme treatment improved your sinus conditions?

Yes - for me, I have seen great improvement in my sinus problems. I had chronic sinusitis for years, an infection every month or two, and now I have only had ONE since starting treatment. And it happens that the one I had was during a several week time period when i happened to be OFF of antibiotics.
What kind of allergy meds do you take? Some of them can be counter-productive.

The thing that helped me was the diflucan. I think I would have died of sinus/allergy issues without it.
I had gone from getting sick twice a year, to three times, then four times, and finally I was getting a sinus infection every other month!!
No nasal sprays or pills helped the situation at all. I did read in a book about inflammation that if you reduce dairy and certain other "inflammatory" foods, it would help with sinus/allergy issues.
Dairy causes me immediate problems with sinuses/allergies/bronchitis. So, I try to stay away from it, but I love ice cream!!

However, it does take longer for diet changes longer than diflucan to help with your sinuses.
