Although I never quite reached a physical rock bottom that many of you describe on the boards, I have had persistent neurological symptoms since the beginning of my treatment in January that have made life quite difficult. I have been taking amoxicillin in combo w/Biaxin, along with nutramedix's Samento which seems to be resulting in very slow but steady progress.
I just started nutramedix's Cumanda herb (10 drops 2x daily) this past weekend and the reduction in neurological symptoms has been almost immediately noticeable.
Any of you have similar success with this herb? Should I expect these gains to last or is this something that reaches a quick plateau? Are any of you using this herb actively/have you all cycled herbs to maintain their efficacy? I just saw this idea, makes sense.

I do much better on the Cowden Herbs when I muscles test for them, and take fewer drops.
Seriously. . on 30 drops of cumanda, I saw NOTHING. On 3 drops, when I muscle test for it, I'm kicked to the curb in a good way.

Cumanda did not work for me.I took 17 drops twice. The first time I am doing better is on only 40 mg minocycline.

You probably had/ have mold or candida... or any pathogen that reacts to Cumanda. Each herb, like abx, will work or not work depending on disease and person. Some people herx horribly with cumanda (I heard).
I have it here, never tested energetically for it so I never took it. But I heard good things about it.
Cats claw brought me also steady progress during the whole 2 years I was on it.

Brussels, thank, I have no candida but will recheck for internal mold from an old exposure. Will address this first. Have heard from other people that mold makes it unpossible to heal. Wolfed, I think nutramedix has cumanda.

Cumanda worked very well for a while, early on into my wife's early Lyme treatment.
Once the Spirochetes are gone, it does not help much against the other forms of Lyme. It did clear her up for a time though, so I think it can be helpful, depending on the form that is present at the time.

Cowden protocols recommend a rotation of the bug-killers. The bugs go into hiding as they adapt to each herb; when you rotate it "gets them" and kills them. The continual rotation is important.

I was on cumanda for 10 months and worked up to 20 drops BID. I herxed for months. Other than that, I relapsed shortly after taking them. Long term ABX worked best for me.
