Hi everyone,

My mother was just diagnosed a few days ago with lyme disease, and she has been suffereing from severe neuropathy in her legs and chest.

I was wondering if anyone else on the board had neuropathy in the chest? And did lyrica help with the muscle pains?

I have recently experienced neuropathy of my chest, abd, and back. For me it started out as a tingling, pins and needles feeling. Then it progressed to numbness. It was freaky.

It started about halfway through my first set of hyperbaric oxygen treatments. Took about 8wks after finishing treatment before it went away.

I also have neuropathy of my hands, feet, and legs. Mainly numbness, sometimes tingling or burning. I have had these symptoms for a couple years now but have not tried Lyrica.

Thanks for the response Sammy. I was wondering if your llmd was able to pinpoint which tick infections caused the chest pain? I am thinking she may have babs as well as lyme.
