I just recently started a combination of Biaxin and Plaquenil, and I have completed a week and a half so far. However, I've been getting a lot of stomach trouble from it. I've been getting diarrhea, bloating, gas, and pain. I am taking probiotics every day, in between my antibiotics.
Does anyone have any advice as to what would help me with my stomach issues as a result of the antibiotics? Is there any kind of food/herbs that can help? Also, how much probiotics should I take and at what time? Thanks.

I had to take VSL#3 (450 billion organisms) when I was on abx.
Fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kombucha and kefir can help.

I take 4 caps nightly of Ultimate Flora Critical Care (50 billion each).
Avoid all sugar, gluten, soy and dairy.
Increase probiotics until problem solved.

I take Jarrow saccharomyces boulardii and Natures Way Primadophilus optima all 2 hours after my last dose of abx in the eve before bedtime so it has all night to work.
