Not sure this has been tried in humans yet -- but might be worth trying if other meds have not worked. Hubby's LLMD is always telling him that many of the meds used in tickborne diseases work on multiple infections.
Doxycycline
Enrofloxacin -- Fluroquinolone class same as Cipro, Levaquin and Factive -- this particular med is currently only used in veterinary medicine I think
Metronidazole or Flagyl

Use of a doxycycline-enrofloxacin-metronidazole combination with/without diminazene diaceturate to treat naturally occurring canine babesiosis caused by Babesia gibsoni.
Lin MY, Huang HP.
ABSTRACT: Canine babesiosis is an important worldwide, tick-borne disease caused by hemoprotozoan parasites of the genus Babesia. Babesia gibsoni is the predominant species that causes canine babesiosis in Taipei, Taiwan. It is a small pleomorphic intraerythrocytic parasite that can cause erythrocyte destruction and hemolytic anemia.
Efficacy of oral administration of a doxycycline-enrofloxacin-metronidazole combination with and without injections of diminazene diaceturate in the management of naturally occurring canine babesiosis caused by B. gibsoni was evaluated retrospectively.
The overall efficacy of this combination of doxycycline-enrofloxacin-metronidazole in conjunction with and without administration of diminazene diaceturate was 85.7% and 83.3%, respectively; with a mean recovery time of 24.2 and 23.5 days, respectively.
Concomitant use of intramuscular diminazene diaceturate may not improve the efficacy of a doxycycline-enrofloxacin-metronidazole combination in management of canine babesiosis caused by B. gibsoni.

I do think that Flagyl can definitely have an effect on babesia. Hubby took that at very low dose (1/4 pill per day) for a week or two before he tried quinine and clindamycin the first time. At that time he could not tolerate a higher dose.
If I was going to try this 3 drug combo I would probably add in one med at a time. Especially if a person also has bartonella. Trying these 3 meds all at once as a first treatment for lyme and tickborne infections could cause a dangerous herx in my opinion.
This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

Thanks Bea. After 26 months of mepron/zith/art, and periodically adding plaquenil, and then flagyl, I was getting worse.
Did have a major big herx from the larium, but if that doesn't help me, then its good to know this other stuff.
Interesting because my llmd told me that doxy plus cipro works well for some bartonella patients. So this combo might be good for addressing 4 co-infections at once.
Agree with you that it would be best to go sloooowly!
