I was just prescribed this medicine. I took my first dose and I'm having those buzzing feelings of the nerves. The same thing that happens on Flagyl.
I was given this due to antibodies to Toxocara.
If anyone has experience with this medicine. Good or bad. Let me know.

I've taken it a couple times after working and traveling out of the country. It was more of a preventative measure. I didn't have any signs of a parasitic infection, just something that my doctor recommended.
I do not remember having any side effects from the medication. It is safe for kids to use too.

High parasitic loads or repeated infection can lead to visceral larva migrans (VLM).[16] VLM is primarily diagnosed in young children, because they are more prone to exposure and ingestion of infective eggs.[17] Toxocara infection commonly resolves itself within weeks, but chronic eosinophilia may result.[18] In VLM, larvae migration incites inflammation of internal organs and sometimes the central nervous system.[19][20]

This may be why you are feeling ill in your nerves...? Just an educated guess.
The Vermox must be doing something...

Thanks very much for the reply.
I suppose my test result could imply another type of parasite but my LLMD only did a couple of tests.
