now it's too bad that when you ask your doctor about Lyme disease they will just brush you off.

True on what littlebit27 said, at least in my experience. I called my PCP three days after being bit, The PCP said I was ok since no rash or bulls eye appeared.

Is there anyone out there who saw a Dr. for the first time and they WERE diagnosed with Lyme?!?

I feel we could all ask those docs - "How come Yahoo knows about it and you don't ?"
If they don't want to learn from you, get rid of them

Yahoo has been good about lyme.
Last year they had an article entitled something like, "top 10 worst travel diseases". And Lyme was on the list!
