Every once in a wile I will get an episode where I will get a surge type feeling in my chest. Its hard to explain a weird feeling then a sudden shortness of breath I think it might be a heart palpitation but not sure. I have been diagnosed with Babesiosis and Lyme disease. Thanks For the help!

Babesia is well-known for causing heart symptoms...but then again, so is Lyme!!

Be sure to discuss with your dr!

I get a "flutter" in my chest as I call it. I think it's a heart palp but not sure. I definitely have issues with my heart. Before starting abx my heart rate was steady between 130-145/ a min RESTING. God only knows what it was when I was at work.

Now with almost 2 months completed it has slowed down to about 108/min, which isn't great but much better.

I definitely have Lyme, I tested positive for ehrclia but don't think I have symptoms, and I believe I have babs and bart.

I plan to talk to my LLMD about it next appt. because the "fluttering" is happening more often. Keep a journal so you can tell LLMD about when and what you were doing.

Heart symptoms were not one of my primary symptoms. However, since starting my treatment this week I"ve gotten some flutters and pain.

I'm going to have an EKG next week to check.
