My doc put me on flagyl today because i'm on iv and at a stand still for 6 mos. Last time I did flagyl, bad emotionally. Did tindamax two times this year an dnothing happened. Did anyone not herx on flagyl and feel the same? I've been feeling like this for so long, mos. wondering why iv hasn't done much considering it has 3x on iv before. Afraid flagyl won't do anything this time. Thanks.

I'm not really sure what you are asking.

I'm pulsing flagyl one week every month and it has been a roller coaster ride emotionally. The herx is getting less each month though.

Joalo, could I ask what other antibiotics you are taking. I am afraid to go back on flagyl so would like to start very slowly.

The last time I was on it I ended up going to the hospital I was so out of it.

Im on my second day of a 3 day pulse (1000 mg). So far, I've noticed I've been more down in the dumps and feeling more off. Assume it is the Flagyl.

maps, I'm taking minocycline 100mg bid and amoxycillin 1000mg tid. I'm pulsing flagyl 500mg tid one week every month.

For me...flagyl really packs a punch. Tindamax was almost as bad. Good Luck! [kiss]
