I am still trying to get the last of this issue gone but its being stubborn.

I was on lamasil for a year so it got better but It just came back after I stopped.

No matter what topicals I try it does not work well enough long enough.

Such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Peroxide, Bleach, Tea Tree Oil, Vicks, DMSO, Grapefruit seed extract oil, even prescribed topicals and over the counter topical lamasil etc

I mix a couple of the above in various ways as I read ideas online too.. but : (

Then I do foot baths. Ironically my ionic detox bath seems to worsen it? Not sure why. But I do separate ones with sea salt or epson salt or peroxide etc.. or combinations

Ok I am thinking I should try to attack it internally through diet and or supplements?

What do you think?

I am rifing too and it seems to help but again like the items above it seems to become resistant.

Amazing how strong this infection can be. I am sure I got it from all the abx for these past years but now that I am off I was hoping it would be easy to fully and finally clear totally up.

IF anyone has a secret or any ideas besides what I have been doing .. Please let me know.

Thanks

As it is I am treating at least 3 times a day with something.

I will say I have not stuck with just ONE thing or Method and switch around week to week. But I would think that would (might) be a good thing.

Thank you so much..

How about internally? DO you think this is a systemic infection that we can take some supplements internally too to combat?

I guess I can take the GSE and Oil of Orgeno Internally and try those.?

I've also heard that soaking the affected nails in Listerine mouthwash works too.

I got rid of my husbands toe nail fungus by using thieves oil every night. I used two drops on each foot (nails only) til the little bottle was gone.

It's been a good six months since I stopped and the fungus hasn't come back. [Cool]

Just to add to Joalo's post:

Here's a quote about thieves oil:

QUOTE

Thieves Oil recipes:

Equal amounts of eucalyptus, rosemary, cinnamon, clove and lemon. Mix with base of olive oil. I usually put a tablespoon of each in a 2 oz. bottle and then fill the rest with olive oil. you can make a larger batch in a quart jar following the same proportion method.
Same ingredients, but measured out in different strength's. Clove Bud Oil 200 drops, Lemon Oil 175 drops, Cinnamon Oil 100 drops, Eucalyptus Oil 75 drops, Rosemary 50 drops.
Thieves Oil Courtesy of Caroline Rogers founder of Nutrition Naturally and co-owner of The Tidewater Companion- A Holistic Health Directory and Resource Guide!

SUGGESTIONS FOR COLDS: According to the People's Desk Reference For Essential Oils, (The PDR) the following single oils are suggested: lavender, lemon, marjoram, frankincense, eucalyptus, melaleuca and rosemary. Young Living produces quality blends; recommended formulas include: Thieves, R.C., Di-Tone or Purification. Also suggested is a raindrop therapy treatment--see massage page for information.

THIEVES: Clove * Lemon * Cinnamon * Eucalyptus * Rosemary * An Essential Oil blend formulated by Gary Young, N.D.,owner of Young Living Essential Oils, Payson, Utah.

REMEMBER: The stimulating aroma of cinnamon or cloves, but if you touched your lips with it, it could cause irritation.... or the fresh aroma of lemon and sipping a hot fresh squeezed lemon drink with honey if you had a cold or sore throat... and Vick's Vapor Rub....the menthol aroma...your Mom would rub it on your chest to help you breathe easier at night in times of congestion....the pungent rosemary herb in cooking...

Aromas evoke memories, and memories lead to family recipes in times of healing for use in colds, flu., congestion, headaches, body aches etc. The Thieves blend is such a recipe, historically recorded in the era during the plague. History records that the perfumers seemed to have an immunity against the plague.

Here is one story: The Four Thieves Vinegar. Perfumers by day, robbers by night. Four men made a concoction of herbs and essential oils in a base of vinegar and would douse their body with this before they went our plundering! They had a pretty good track record of stealing riches until the King found out and captured them, forcing them to give up their secret weapon against the plague. The herbal ingredients were wormwood, meadowsweet, juniper berries, rosemary, camphor, sage, cinnamon and cloves in a base of white wine vinegar.

PRESENT DAY THIEVES: The essential oils contained within this formula have been noted for anti-bacterial, anti-viral, antiseptic and anti-catarrhyal properties while stimulating the immune system, circulation and the respiratory system. According to research at Weber State University, Thieves was found to have a 99% kill rate against airborne bacteria when diffused.

MY EXPERIENCE: Due to the cinnamon and clove contained, one must be cautious--it may cause irritation if improperly used. Fair skinned, blue-eyed individuals, redheads and those who tend to sunburn easily need to heed and dilute Thieves in a carrier oil (such as almond ) before applying to the skin. I have used 1-2 drops of Thieves on the bottom of my feet and also at the nape of the neck. Other places could be under the arms, and on the chest. I do not suggest using this in a bath or in a sauna! Diffuse for only short periods of time--20 minutes or less at work or at home. I used a lot of Thieves during January and February and felt the results were positive.

Thieves Oil is not available in stores. To order, please visit: http://www.thieves-oil.com

So what should I do this time ?

Oh, and I forgot the ANGER about having to get it through your docs....

I don't know anything about thieves oil but I just tried clove oil for the first time a couple of weeks ago when my 6 year old had a bad ear infection with fever.

My homeopathic practitioner told me to dilute one or two drops in some lotion and rub it behind his ear and along his jaw line a couple of times a day for a few days. I went to the ENT doc after 3 days of this and the infection was completely cleared. I noticed pain relief with him overnight.

It was remarkable. I wish I had known about this when my kids had ear infections every two weeks.

You definitely need to dilute the clove oil because it can burn the skin. I also had it tested with my practitioner's electrodermal machine on my son and it showed it worked against mycoplasma, which she thought was causing his recent sinus infection/cough.

Massman

May I make a suggestion. ?

Just be yourself and stop letting others get to you. If you do not like a response then its your choice how you respond. You can ignore it. Respond directly to it. You can let it get to you and take it to heart or personally. You can take it with a grain of salt and choose to go forward with what you want to say not matter what "others" type.

I suggest. Be Yourself and stay true to who you are and what you believe.

Address the concern but the messages you post like above have not usefulness to yourself, I believe, or anyone else.

So.. its all up to you. You can not control others but you can choose what you do...

Rise above... Be You..

It seems you like to help others. So if I am right I think you would like to be able to continue to. But you have to accept like I have and many others that you can not help or please or always be in agreement with everyone.

But thats Ok. You can still say what you want to say and you can even address the issues that you feel they are not being ok by saying what they say.

Its all up to you...

I know I said that a few times .. sorry to repeat myself... but.. it is.. all up to you! : )

Blessings..

Spring, I agree with tickbattler about the clove oil. I would attack it internally though. What goes on on the ouside is indicative of what's going on inside.

Check Hulda Clarks Parasite Cleanse which has clove herbs along with wormwood and green black walnut hull. I think you might benefit from this in more ways than one. Using extra clove oil on the nail could also be good.

Hope you can get on top of this,

Gael

A mixture of Neem-Oil and Tea-Tree-Oil, daily applied for weeks, is supposed to help.

coconut oil...internal and external, along with AC Vinegar, internal and external, over a very long time...may take a year. If you took long term abx...it is systemic. also, Dr. K. has protocols...he tests with ART for specific individualized protocols...I will have to look through my notes.

Much depends on other things you have or what other issues you are working on. For example..if you are clearing heavy metals at the time...or killing any bugs....then you are putting your body out of its balance intentionally...but the downside is that the fungus/candida/mold will grow to replace what now is cledared...to get the previous balance back....so no matter what you do, you may not see the relief you want.

The idea is...when you have the overgrowth...is to know that you have other issues most likely as well tied together. Need to work on a systematic approach to hit them all in cycles to lower your body burden...that seems to work for many. Then a more natural balance will occur over time.

Possibly at least a year to begin rebalancing your body after long term abx.

Be patient and keep working...as for most this is a life long process to keep things at bay. Make natural detox a natural part of you daily life...and then you will see results.

I have black under a couple toenails, I believe a fungus. My lyme doc recommended putting some Vicks VapoRub on it before bed each night.

Not sure why he suggested the timing of at night, perhaps that doesn't matter that much. Anyway, he has had a couple other ideas that sounded a little strange that worked great. This idea seems to be working as the black area is getting smaller.

Looks like you've got a number of ideas you might try. This Vicks has camphor, euclyptus, and menthol, which sound similar to some of the other items mentioned above.

Dear Springshowers,
Your thinking is right on target!
Get on a strict Candida control diet ASAP. That means clean out your fridge, cabinets and pantry of EVERYTHING on the "don't eat" lists TODAY.

It's plain that Burrascano's section on yeast control diet is the most scattered and incomplete of all. Don't look there for help with a Candida control diet, just know that ILADS sees yeast as a big factor in healing, too.

You'll never rid yourself of the fungus if you keep feeding the parasitic beasts. Become a hostile environment.

I just drank my 3 oz of SO Delicious Strawberry Coconut Milk Kefir. Yummm. Wish it came in organic.

THanks for the ideas. I am already and have been on an anti yeast diet but I do have some buckling down I can do..

I did do some rife for 3 days in a row and the first two days I did not think it was doing anything and the 3rd day immediately after the session there was big change. It was not gone but the nails started to peel and bubble up kinda and very obvious.

So I think it is working..

Then today even things look so much better not near as looking as if it is growing and more as if it is now dead and the nail is not tighter on me and whiter etc..

Still lots of work but I was amazed at the rifing.

I got to keep it up daily I think in this case. I am more used to rifing in a bit of a different way.

I used a program of 6 freqencies specific for nail fungus. Hmmm I am going to keep that up on top of Diet for sure.

ARe there supplements that you would consider Anit Candida?
I have not had fungal issues besides this one. LIke I hear some people who are battling the candida or even thrush and private are yeast infections and such..

I just never had had that issue. But maybe there is more inside of me than I might think that i have been neglecting to work on..

So I am up for the challenge.

Thats a nice change. I am used to being so overwhelmed I can not even think of working on this or that or one thing at a time etc.

I am so glad I am feeling well enough to feel this way..! : )

Blessings and THank you for the Great ideas and feedback.

I realize that toe fungus is not high on the priority list of issues.. It was not high on my list for so long and I felt kinda foolish typing up about it even...

But.. well it can be like your all saying an indications of whats going on inside and a marker I should be paying attention to much more..

Systemic Formulas and Inno-Vita both have specifically mixed herbals for candida / yeast / fungus.

Systemic also has one that can be used both internally and externally !

Thank you Massman very much....

I am emailing them to find out who are the providers in my area.

I wish I could just try them or order them without having to go through a doctor that is a provider of the products.

DO you know why they do it this way? DO they feel it should be recommended by a physician?

spring - they have felt for years that they should be available from health pros.

Your doc can get them for you. Have the doc call + open an account. Won't cost the doc anything to do that. Doc will charge you.

I have repeatedly said here that I make no money recommending those supps here. I am continuing that.

Contact me if you get the WO oil - you only need teeny tiny amounts + I can tell you the best ways to use teeny amounts externally + internally. #4 is the other, capsules are good.

Ok Thanks. I will have to talk to my homeopathic doctor and see if he would be willing to open an account.

Many doctors do not want to be bothered with this sort of thing sadly if it takes time and effort to do it.

But I will try at my next appt and print out materials and info to try to make it simple for him.

Thanks again
